Updated October 23rd, 2024, from my coworking space in Buenos Aires, Argentina. We’re getting some beautiful spring days, which I’m trying to soak in before what I’m told is a pretty brutal summer.

What’s This Page?

Since taking my business fully online in 2018, I’ve moved over 10 times to different cities in the U.S., Europe, and now South America. I’ve also traveled a fair amount.

So understandably, people don’t always know where I am and what I’m up to. And many people are kind enough to ask.

So I’m taking a page out of Derek Sivers’ book, and creating this “now” page. Unlike an “about” page, it’ll actually tell you what I’m up to at the moment.

My Current Homebase

I left Massachusetts for Buenos Aires earlier this year, and it has very much exceeded my (already optimistic) expectations.

The city is beautiful to walk. The food is up my alley. The “winter” (June-September) was quite bearable compared to New England, where I grew up. Above all else… the people I’ve met are incredible. They’ve welcomed me with open arms.

For the first time in a while, I don’t feel like I’m passing through. I have a legitimate sense of community here.

Mi Español

Everybody’s favorite follow-up: “So how’s your Spanish?”

The honest answer is not great — but I’m making an effort to be slightly less bad every day. And again, the people I’ve connected with have made a world of difference. Especially on the days I feel like a lost cause.

(Here’s a podcast I did on language learning.)

My 30th & Next Stops

In just a few weeks, I’m heading to New York to celebrate my 30th with my twin brother, Zach. We’re spending some time with family, then doing a little get-together with friends.

A little throwback to one of our first birthday bangers

After that, I’m off to Miami for a month for another change of scenery, before heading back to BA for summer (December-February).

Again, I’m told it’s gnarly here — but I did get an apartment with a “pileta” (translates to “sink,” but means pool here)… so I’m hoping that softens the blow.

In late February, I’m off to Australia to spend some time with the one and only Adam Martin — a good friend, and the only repeat guest on my podcast. I’ll hang there through March, then…

A longer stint in Australia? Back to BA?

We’ll see.

That’s it for updates at the moment.
